More Announcements

Harrison Higgs will be speaking at the Spring 2007 Media Artist Talk at Northbank Gallery on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 7 pm. Entitled "Found Hand: Contemporary Digital Imaging," Harrison discusses contemporary digital photography. Northbank Gallery is located in 1005 Main Street, in downtown Vancouver, just walking distance from Esther Short Park. Join us for this event, and learn more about Harrison’s art. Those new to the DTC have the opportunity to meet faculty and other students in the program.

DTC Club officers have been elected for the upcoming year. They are: Mark Oliver, President; Eileen Carron, Vice-President; and Morgan Deluke, Secretary. The club will be active during the summer. A planning session is scheduled for next week. Details of that meeting will be sent out next week.

A special thanks is in order to Kerry Sharp who served as President of the DTC Club this year. She took over the responsibility of running the club at the beginning of fall 2006 and single-handedly kept the club alive, writing its constitution and moving the club to legitimacy within the university’s new policies. We will honor her and other DTC graduates on Friday at the luncheon.

Congrats to the new officers. :)

Dene, an you tell us more about FA 434 offered in the fall-who will be teaching it, what type of participation in the PICA fest. will be required etc...also what type of prior technical background/computer knowledge would be helpful/neccessary for students' success in this class. Thanks.

Hi,
I found out too late that a PHP Workshop was offered. I am hoping to find a copy (electronic or paper) of the instructions. Anyone know where I might find these?
