Search # 5169 - Web Communications Manager

WSU Vancouver is seeking a Web Communications Manager who will take a leadership role in the development and implementation of our Web strategy, as well as the management of our web site, ensuring that the site meets the needs of the institution and its constituents with attention to usability and accessibility issues. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a team environment, interacting with diverse internal constituents.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in information science or related field and 3 years of progressively responsible experience in web site design, development and maintenance, including hands-on web site technical production using Web editing software, and proficiency coding (X)HTML and CSS. Applicants must also have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, search engine optimization, Web analytics, basic Web scripting languages and databases, and Content Management Systems, including implementation of a CMS to an existing web site.
