Internships at OPB
While the DTC Program is not a journalism program or sees itself preparing students for careers in the broadcast industry, you guys will find opportunities to undertake all kinds of multimedia work like video, animation and web design for TV and radio organizations. The one listed below at OPB is a case in point:
OPB’s college internship program provides students with the opportunity to observe and participate in the daily activities of a broadcast center, as well as develop strong organizational and management skills.
Please click on the links below for the OPB internship program guidelines and descriptions of the internships that are available. Please acquaint yourself with the guidelines of the program to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements.
You should be aware that there may be more applicants than internships. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection for one of the OPB intern positions. Internship terms begin in September, January, March and June. Applicants should apply by the 1st of the month prior to the term start date. Applications are due in hand, not post-marked, by Aug. 1st, Dec. 1st, Feb. 1st, May 1st.
