Qualifications:

· Proficiency in web technologies: XHTML, CSS, ActionScript (AS3) and JavaScript

· Experience with Flash: Framing, Layouts and Animations.

· Clear understanding of the W3C development standards

· Web Development Languages: PHP or ASP.NET

· Video Editing and Optimization

· Required to have working knowledge of MS Office and Adobe CS3, especially Illustrator, Flash, and Fireworks.

· Need leadership and teamwork skills. Ability to define tasks, organize complex projects and meet deadlines.

The position will be part-time during the summer between 25-30 hours. During the school year the ideal candidate will be able to work between 8-15 hours a week.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with staff, drafting proposals, and for final production for submittal to both private and public sector clients. The skills necessary to perform effectively as part of the proposal team include project research, technical writing and layout, team organization, desktop publishing, graphic design, and production. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and PhotoShop will be necessary.

 The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for marketing administration support, such as tracking leads/projects/markets, updating and preparing new marketing materials, maintaining our project information and resumes. The primary strength that is required is technical writing with a genuine interest in the A/E world.

Minimum Requirements:

· B.A. in Marketing, English, Business, or Journalism (a combination of education and direct experience with a major A/E firm will be considered)

· Collaborative approach to working with a variety of personalities.

· Ability to self-manage, effectively multi-task, and prioritize work to meet multiple deadlines.

· Excellent English language skills for writing and proofreading.

· Ability to work with people in-house, as well as clients, other consultants, agency staff, contractors, with an understanding of our goals in marketing and Gracious and diplomatic interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

· Risk awareness in writing and editing.

· Creativity and willingness to think outside the box to help Project Managers' express ideas to meet client expectations.

· MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and PhotoShop

Join the web development team and play a primary role in solving problems, building solutions, designing and building tools and web applications primarily in a PHP/MySQL environment. This position calls for a dedicated software engineer who works well on a small, fast-paced team. The PHP Software Engineer is expected to take a problem statement or requirement set and develop prototypes, systems and solutions in predictable times. The PHP Software Engineer must be able to rise up to meet a challenge with technical knowledge, creative thinking, open-mindedness and enthusiasm. Someone self-driven to learn, create, refine and share.

Personal Requirements:

Technical Requirements:

· BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Physics

· Hands-on experience in software development

· Solid foundation in computer science essence fundamentals, including data structures, programming languages, algorithms, software engineering, database theory, and operating systems

· Advanced skills for software design and development using PHP

· Demonstrated experience with object oriented software design and development in PHP

· Strong knowledge of query design and optimization and database scheme design, preferably in MySQL

· Demonstrated experience with source code control procedures and environments

· Hands-on experience with JavaScript and a JavaScript Library, preferably jQuery

· Knowledge of Linux, including configuration, installation and administration of LAMP environments (Apache, PHP and MySQL)

· Ability to create technical design documentation

· Some Python/Django experience would be a plus

· Experience developing code for high traffic sites a plus
